With a birthing education and an EMT background, I'm the "total package". The knowledge that I have both from the western ideals as well as the alternative modalities compliment one another. With my educational backround, I am able to give you a better understanding of the possible choices that are presented to you along the way. I am committed to being as involved in your care as you want me to be. Mostly, that means following you through the pregnancy, all of the active labor, birth and follow-up after delivery. My goal is to give you the comfort, trust and faith you need to help make your birth a success. I have a deep respect for the process of childbirth and believe that women are created and designed perfectly to birth their babies.

In my years of birthing experience I have come to know the needs and wants of many different types of expecting mothers, almost instinctively. I find myself with a genuine care not only for the mom and baby, but often for the entire family going through the process. It's no coincidence that many of my clients become friends.

I would also like to state that no question however small, is insignificant and I'm always available to talk. My feeling is that every birth is unique and all expecting mothers have questions and concerns that I'm always happy to answer. My personality lends itself to this type of profession, as I'm easy going and get along well with all different types of people. I understand that this is the experience of a lifetime for most people, and am involved to give you not only the greatest care available, but the support and balance that makes all the difference.
